...ha! Made you read. I know sneaky and not too nice. I should specify that it's no more for me. I've broken free of the clutches of free sites and started my own and have *my very own* word press blog. Woo Hooo!

I made the change from Blogger to WordPress last fall. Felt good to say goodbye to Blogger. The transition went well, and I didn't loose anything. Can't ask for more than that. You have a nice site, I'll be back top see it again.

you have a nice site yourself. And here's a question: how is it that you're a Large Mammal on the TTLB Ecosystem with 1300 odd visitors...and I'm a puny microbe??
:)
PS Thanks for visiting!

I looked over Wordpress, and I haven't found the way to transfer over all my old blog posts. How do you do it?

that's a very good question...are you currently a blogger user? I believe blogger has a way or a tool to do it. I, unfortunately, did it by hand....i know, i know, dufus...especially cause i lost all my old comments...

I got the instructions from WordPress, it was a matter of publishing them to my new site in a specific format from Blogger.
After I read your question I went to my site to refresh my memory, and I believe they're simplified it since then. I recently upgraded my version of WordPress, and there is a different interface in the import page now. I looks it's more automated than when I did it. It looks like it will now import comments too, I didn't get the comments moved (no real loss). Either way it wasn't difficult. I'm very pleased with the result, and I'm a big fan of WordPress. Very easy to use, very adaptable too.
